I officially feel terrible...

So I have neglected to update this blog for so long! I feel terrible.

School has kind of taken over and I'm amazed I can even fit in a fraction of something that resembles a social life. BUT on the plus side, we're past half way through the semester, and things will be ending sooner than I know it.

So far we've been working on vector math and linear algebra, programming electronic textiles and making 3D-animations.

For the next few weeks will mainly be updating and working on my animation group project. Got a movie to make folks! and can only hope it will be good. Have some amazing modellers in my group :) looking forward to this :)

As for electronic textiles, working on a scarf that detects temperature. it'll wind up closer to the wearer's neck when the temperature drops, and uncoil when it warms up. Pretty nifty eh?

And well Math is Math...whole class is a little worried about our next midterm coming up next week (wish me luck) BUT hopefully, we will all survive it.

Also registration for classes next semester is coming up next week. Only going to have one class a week next semester YAY! ANNNNNND....drumroll please........I get to register for GRADUATION! Finally! so excited about this!

with the "spare time" i'll have next semester, going to be working my butt off on a 3D animation and modelling portfolio. Needs to be awesome if I'm going to get a job anywhere, or at least get in as an intern or PA.

Life is going to start really soon folks! Really soon :)

Little explanation on each:
2 are for a 3D-animation class, our final group project as well as an individual webpage for lab exercises and portfolio pieces.

the other is body interface design, using MAX5 to create GUI's (graphical user interfaces) as well as interactive experiences between human and machine.

Webpage Upgrade!

Updating the ol' website, figured that Viral Concepts needed a make over..soo slowly in the works. Looks a little dull right now. Portfolio is starting to look nice, but still needs a lot of love :)

Should hopefully be all fixed and purdy by the coming weekend (as long as nothing explodes in my face...as things generally do).

Portfolio is going to have a new area to check out as well...drum roll please....3-D Rendering! YAY!

finally getting some 3-D stuff up, basic stuff granted, but its still 3-D! so stay tuned for more awesomeness :D

Up and Coming Awesomeness!

Greetings fans!

From the ashes arise a new breed of artists...

So some exciting news! Doing a 3-D collaboration with Capt'n Stewie (http://captnstewie.blogspot.com/). Going to be totally awesome!

Already worked out all the 2-D line art, and now the 3-D awesomness shall commence!

in other words, we are creating a 3-D concept art piece. Myself, drawing the 2-D layout and colour mapping, while the good Capt'n will be creating the world in Maya.

Going to be awesome when it's completed. Don't want to give too much away on the topic of the piece, but Stewie and I will be updating throughout the project to show you what is happening along the way!

So finally finished doing a commission of Wolverine from X-Men. So stoked for this one, honestly, I think it's one of my best works yet :) so happy how it turned out!!! check it out in the sketches page!

AN UPDATE! no way!

So the holiday season has come to a close and school has once again started up.

I plan to update this blog as much as possible, but I will be continually updating a class blog every week.

FREEDOM!!!

Finally finished classes! Exams are over, got one last paper to finish up, SO in other words life is good. Time for doodlez!!!! and of course some quality time with Skyward Sword.

This holiday planning on finally making my tail (so excited!) and just having some good ol' fashion fun with friends, all those people I had to shun for the past 3 months.

So there will be regular updates to VanSketch from myself as well as this blog, on artwork that's happening, tail building and of course life updates.

Almost done X-Men commission so will be showcasing that very soon on both Ginger Ninja and VanSketch. As well as Christmas design, Wonderland design and "The Game" design.

So much art, so little time...UNTIL NOW!
