Ok, just can't describe what an awesome day this was at Siggraph. Sat in line with thousands of people to get one of the very coveted Pixar Teapots, must say I was successful! WOOT!
next up, ran to the job fair, checked out who was hiring, and shocked myself by handing over a resume to Bungie! Was stoked to find out that they are hiring concept artists, was even more surprised at how intro-verted I was. Went into nerdy fan-girl mode and clammed up. Thank goodness for the lovely ladies at the Booth who smiled said "What do you do? do you have a resume". saved the day.
Next up, checking out the ZBrush booth, met Jeremiah. He's the creator of Warped Universe (warpeduniverse.com) Tot's awesome! took his picture with his work as a giant poster. Great guy, looking forward to keeping in contact with him!
Had a fantastic portfolio and resume review with Darvin K. Manwah from Carphology Entertainment (www.carphology-entertainment.com) So much awesome advice! gunna edit my resume, update new webpage and send info to him for more great advice!
